POLYGLUE
EXPANDED POLYSTYRENE ADHESIVE
INTRODUCTION
With the use of expanded polystyrene in construction
gaining ever wider use the need has developed for
ancillary products such as adhesives to facilitate
the application of EPS building products.
PRODUCT
DESCRIPTION
Polyglue is a synthetic rubber based adhesive used
to bond expanded polystyrene to itself and to all
other clean and dry surfaces such as metal, brick,
wood and fibreglass.
Polyglue functions as a contact adhesive, has excellent
bond strength, good heat resistance and high initial
tack.
PRODUCT APPLICATION
1) Stir well before use
2) Surface to be bonded should be clean , free of
dust and dry
3) Apply a thin coat of Polyglue to both surfaces
to be bonded with a brush.
4) Allow to dry for about 10-15minutes.
5) Bring surfaces together and apply mild pressure.
6) Brushes and tools can be cleaned using Genkem’s
Nova11 cleaner or toluene solvent.
